Raggi receives phone call from Canada's Foreign Minister, discusses developments
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raggi received a phone call from Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand, during which they discussed the implications of the Iranian-American agreement for Lebanon.
The Canadian Minister reaffirmed her country’s support for Lebanon and its commitment to continuing assistance during this critical period.
For his part, Minister Raggi emphasized during the call that securing a ceasefire remains the overriding priority, and welcomed any agreement that serves stability, while stressing that ‘’Lebanon remains committed to negotiations through a track of its own, independent of the Iranian-American process, with the aim of reaching a comprehensive solution that safeguards its sovereignty and stability.
