Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, has departed for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, upon an invitation from the Royal Protocol.
Mufti Derian praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its ongoing work to facilitate and ease the performance of the pilgrimage for pilgrims. He also extended greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi government for the care they provide to pilgrims.
The Mufti also assigned the Fatwa Secretary of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Amin Al-Kurdi, to lead the Eid al-Adha prayer and deliver the sermon at the Mohammed Al-Amin Mosque in downtown Beirut, at 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
