Salam receives Ghassan Skaf National Forum delegation
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met a delegation from the Ghassan Skaf National Forum at the Grand Serail, including lawyer May Skaf, Dr. Bassem Chab, Salah Salam, lawyer Walid Younes, lawyer Mohammad Matar, journalist Sabine Oueiss, Dr. Mohammad Abou Chakra and Crystal Tarazi.
The delegation handed Salam a memorandum outlining what it described as a roadmap for moving Lebanon from the stage of danger and crisis management to the stage of initiative and state restoration.
According to the forum, the memorandum called for repositioning Lebanon diplomatically through a balanced policy aimed at restoring ties with the Arab world and the international community, while reaffirming commitment to international legitimacy and resolutions.
It also stressed the need to launch internal reforms focused on judicial independence, fighting corruption and modernizing public administration to restore public and international confidence.
