Economy Minister Amer Bisat and Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture president, Toufic Dabboussi, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing, facilitating and simplifying procedures related to the registration and protection of intellectual property rights.
The agreement also seeks to provide faster and more specialized services in the field.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, attended by chamber vice presidents Ibrahim Fawaz and Nakhle Yamin, Bisat said cooperation with the Tripoli chamber was historic, longstanding and deep-rooted across various economic sectors.
Moreover, Bisat described the agreement as an important step toward strengthening intellectual property protection and benefiting from Lebanese expertise and innovation, particularly in northern Lebanon, in a way that supports economic growth in the region and across the country.
