The Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc sent a memorandum to Arab and foreign embassies accusing Israel of committing widespread violations of the November 2024 ceasefire agreement and escalating attacks against Lebanon with US backing.
The bloc said Israeli forces had committed nearly 10,000 violations since the agreement took effect, including strikes on civilians, infrastructure and border villages, while warning of plans to establish a buffer zone in southern Lebanon.
It argued that diplomatic efforts and international monitoring mechanisms had failed to stop the attacks, saying Lebanon retained the right to legitimate self-defense under international law.
The memorandum called for a full halt to Israeli attacks, withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory, the return of displaced residents, reconstruction of affected areas and the release of Lebanese detainees.
