Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar chaired a meeting attended by Internal Security Forces chief Major General Raed Abdallah, Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud and senior security officials to assess traffic conditions in Beirut and review measures aimed at reducing congestion in the capital.
Participants evaluated field measures implemented across Beirut’s streets and main entrances to ease traffic pressure and improve mobility.
Al-Hajjar stressed the need to continue efforts and adopt additional measures to reduce congestion, highlighting the importance of coordination among concerned authorities.
He also instructed traffic units to reinforce their presence at major intersections and roads to improve traffic flow and facilitate citizens’ movement.
