Berri meets public procurement chief and prosecutor general, calls legislative session
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Public Procurement Authority head, Judge Jean Elliyeh, at Ain al-Tineh.
Berri also met prosecutor general at the Court of Cassation Judge Ahmad al-Hajj in a protocol visit following his appointment to office.
Separately, Berri called for a general parliamentary session at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 21, to discuss draft laws and legislative proposals listed on the agenda.
