Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants strongly condemned, in a statement, the attempted attack targeting the territory of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with three drones on 17 May, 2026.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that these attacks constitute a violation of the United Nations Charter and international law, including UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026) dated 11 March 2026, which condemned attacks against Arab countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants reiterated Lebanon’s full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to preserve its security and stability and to protect its citizens and residents.
