Unsettled May Weather Persists as New Changes Approach
Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin remain under the influence of relatively hot air masses accompanied by active winds carrying layers of dust. This is leading to a noticeable rise in temperatures and a drop in humidity levels. Conditions are expected to improve starting Monday morning, with temperatures declining and humidity increasing again.

Sunday: Mostly partly cloudy in the morning, gradually becoming partly cloudy to cloudy at mid and high altitudes in the afternoon. Humidity will decrease while temperatures rise significantly. Winds will strengthen, reaching up to 75 km/h in northern areas, accompanied by dust layers. Rain is expected late Sunday into early Monday over eastern Bekaa, with a chance of lightning and thunder.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds, with a slight further drop in temperatures. Fog will continue to form over high elevations.
Wednesday: Generally cloudy with mid to high clouds, stable temperatures, and continued fog formation over mountainous areas.
Surface winds: Southerly to southeasterly, active, ranging between 15 and 50 km/h, and occasionally reaching up to 75 km/h in northern regions.
