Dar al-Fatwa Announces Eid al-Adha 2026 Dates
The Lebanese Dar al-Fatwa announced in a statement that the Day of Arafah, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, will fall on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and Eid al-Adha will be on Wednesday, the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to May 27, 2026.
It extended its congratulations to pilgrims, wishing them an accepted Hajj, a rewarded effort, and forgiven sins. It also congratulated Muslims in general on the blessed occasion, praying that God returns it to them and to all Lebanese with goodness, security, peace, and stability.
