Geagea meets Syrian chargé d’affaires
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea met Syrian chargé d’affaires in Lebanon Iyad al-Hazzaa in Maarab during a courtesy visit attended by former MP Eddy Abi Lamaa, former minister Richard Kouyoumjian and Roger Rajeh.
According to a statement, discussions focused on current developments in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as the importance of political and diplomatic dialogue serving the interests of both Lebanon and Syria.
Hazzaa also presented symbolic gifts to Geagea at the start of the meeting.
