Kanaan meets British Ambassador on ceasefire push and institutional support
Head of the Lebanese-British parliamentary friendship committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan met British Ambassador to Lebanon Hamish Cowell at parliament to discuss developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Talks also covered Britain’s role in supporting Lebanese official efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire, ending the war and reinforcing stability.
Discussions further focused on support for Lebanese state institutions, particularly the Lebanese army, as part of efforts to bolster internal security and stability.
