Progressive Socialist Party delegation discusses Lebanon-Syria coordination with Syrian envoy
A delegation from the Progressive Socialist Party, including Democratic Gathering bloc MP Wael Abou Faour and party official Khodr al-Ghadban, met with Syrian chargé d’affaires in Lebanon Iyad al-Hazaa at the Syrian embassy in Beirut.
According to a statement, discussions focused on issues of mutual interest, ways to strengthen official cooperation between Lebanon and Syria and the importance of enhancing coordination between the two countries in the interest of both people.
The meeting came as a follow-up to recent talks held in Damascus between former PSP leader Walid Jumblatt and Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.
