Maronite Foundation denounces attacks against Rahi
The Maronite Foundation in the World condemned what it described as malicious campaigns targeting Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Rahi following a meeting with the patriarch in Bkerke.
The delegation said insults against religious figures undermine national and spiritual values and warned against continued incitement. It also highlighted the church’s role in sheltering displaced people from southern Lebanon and promoting peace.
The foundation briefed Rahi on efforts related to the Lebanese nationality restoration law and diaspora initiatives, while the patriarch praised its work strengthening ties between Lebanese expatriates and their homeland.
