President Aoun offers condolences to bin Salman, stresses the need to respect Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity
President Aoun called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to express his condolences and stress the need to respect the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In the call, Aoun was briefed on the situation in Saudi Arabia following attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and other civilian facilities and infrastructure.
Aoun renewed his condemnation of the attacks, affirming Lebanon’s solidarity, at both the presidential and popular levels, with Saudi Arabia, its leadership and its people. He said the attacks threatened the Kingdom’s security and stability, as well as that of the region.
Aoun stressed the need to respect Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and refrain from targeting its civilian and vital facilities. He also extended his condolences over the victims of the attacks and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
