Rifi: I stand in solidarity with Rami Naim against barbaric behavior

I condemn the militia-style attack on journalist Rami Naim and stress the need for the judiciary to act immediately to arrest and prosecute those responsible, putting an end to intimidation and the abuse of power.
I also express my full solidarity with Naim and the media community in the face of barbaric behavior targeting freedom of opinion and the press and undermining the authority of the state and the rule of law.
To Hezbollah, I say: Show some restraint, because you have left yourselves no way out. Think about how you can step back, because an overwhelming show of force protects no one and cannot continue at the expense of the state, the dignity of the Lebanese people, and their freedoms.
