Energy minister Joe Saddi continues working despite boycott of cabinet sessions
Energy and Water Minister Joe Saddi has not stopped working despite his decision to boycott cabinet sessions.
MTV has learned that Saddi will travel on Sunday at the invitation of Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud to take part in a series of events.
Saddi will participate in the International Energy Forum in Riyadh, as well as the World Petroleum Congress, one of the leading international conferences in the oil and gas sector. He will also attend the 16th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity, being held in Riyadh.
On the sidelines of these events, Saddi will hold bilateral meetings with his Cypriot, Syrian, Jordanian, Iraqi and Algerian counterparts to discuss ways to strengthen relations and develop cooperation in oil, gas and electricity.
He will also meet representatives of several major international energy companies to encourage them to invest in Lebanon’s energy sector.
