Aoun, Arnault review developments in the south and wider region
President Joseph Aoun met with Acting UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jean Arnault to discuss the latest domestic and regional developments, particularly the situation in South Lebanon and the activities of United Nations organizations operating in the country.
Arnault briefed Aoun on the outcomes of meetings held during his visits to several countries, including Iran.
The talks also addressed developments across the region, particularly in Gulf countries, against the backdrop of attacks targeting Saudi Arabia.
