Mahfoud: The decisive moment is approaching, and a historic decision must be made
Change Movement leader Elie Mahfoud wrote on X:
Three years of war, and Hezbollah continues to stubbornly persist, as though Lebanon’s devastation and the displacement of southern residents, along with the destruction of their villages and homes, were of no concern to it.
What kind of victory is it when people are displaced and their homes destroyed, while the party continues pursuing its futile course of action in service of Iran?
This stubbornness will not absolve it of responsibility. The government will not remain trapped in a state of waiting. A decisive moment is approaching, and a major historic decision must be made, because continuing down this path is no longer merely a political mistake, but an ongoing drain on Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
