President Joseph Aoun reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to keeping the headquarters of the Union of Arab Chambers in Beirut, during a meeting with the union’s Secretary General Dr. Khaled Hanafy.
Aoun praised the union’s leading role in strengthening the Arab economy, saying its presence in Beirut underscored the importance of hosting Arab economic institutions in the Lebanese capital and reflected the depth of Lebanon’s ties to its Arab surroundings.
The president also stressed the need to strengthen public-private partnerships in a way that supports economic growth and reinforces confidence in the Lebanese economy.
