Morcos, Nassar reaffirm commitment to protecting media freedoms
Minister of Information Paul Morcos received Minister of Justice Adel Nassar in his office at the ministry.
Following the meeting, Minister Morcos said, in response to a question, that the visit came as part of the ongoing coordination between the Ministries of Information and Justice, during which the current general developments were discussed.
Minister Morcos stressed the importance of safeguarding public freedoms, particularly media freedoms, which he said the ministry is keen to preserve in implementing the new Media Law.
Morcos described the meeting as very constructive and positive.
