The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation forecast that Tuesday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with temperatures rising further, particularly over the mountains and inland areas. Fog is expected to form over the mountains, with scattered drizzle forecast over northern mountainous areas from the afternoon.

General situation: Stable summer weather is prevailing over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures below seasonal averages, particularly in inland areas, through Tuesday. Temperatures will then rise, exceeding seasonal averages on Wednesday.

Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures. Fog will occasionally form over mid-altitude areas.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with a further rise in temperatures, particularly over the mountains and inland areas. Fog will form over the mountains, with scattered drizzle expected over northern mountainous areas from the afternoon.
Wednesday: Generally partly cloudy, with temperatures continuing to rise in mountainous and inland areas, exceeding seasonal averages. Humidity will increase along the coast, adding to the feeling of heat, while fog will form over the mountains.
Thursday: Generally partly cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures. Coastal humidity will remain high, increasing the feeling of heat, while localized fog will form over the mountains.
