From Scorching Heat to Rain?!
The Meteorological Department at Lebanon’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation forecast partly cloudy weather for tomorrow, with dense fog over the mountains and a slight drop in temperatures in mountainous and inland areas. Temperatures along the coast are expected to remain largely unchanged, while humidity levels will decrease.
The department said in its latest bulletin that Lebanon is experiencing typical summer weather, with temperatures around seasonal averages along the coast and above seasonal averages inland and in mountainous areas.
The average August temperatures are 24°C to 32°C in Tripoli, 25°C to 33°C in Beirut, and 18°C to 35°C in Zahle.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, with dense fog over the mountains and a slight drop in temperatures, particularly in mountainous and inland areas. Winds will occasionally strengthen, with a chance of drizzle in northern Lebanon at night.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, with dense fog over the mountains and a slight drop in temperatures in mountainous and inland areas. Temperatures along the coast will remain largely unchanged, while humidity levels will decrease.
Friday: Partly cloudy, with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will remain stable in mountainous and inland areas and rise slightly along the coast.
Saturday: Partly cloudy, with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged along the coast and rise slightly in mountainous and inland areas, with winds occasionally becoming active.
Temperatures will range from 22°C to 32°C along the coast, 17°C to 29°C in mountainous areas, and 19°C to 38°C inland.
Winds: Southwesterly during the day and light and variable at night, occasionally becoming active in northern Lebanon, at speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h.
Visibility: Generally moderate.
Relative humidity along the coast: 65% to 80%.
Sea conditions: Low waves, with a sea surface temperature of 29°C.
