Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced the resumption of air cargo and re-export services from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia following a decision by Saudi authorities to allow the reception of air freight shipments originating from Lebanon under approved conditions and procedures.
The airline said the move will help strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries and support Lebanese exporters, for whom the Saudi market remains a key destination.
Through its MEA Cargo division, the company has begun implementing the necessary operational measures to receive and transport shipments to the various Saudi airports it serves, in line with international safety, security and quality standards.
MEA welcomed the decision and thanked the relevant Saudi and Lebanese authorities for their cooperation in restoring this vital air cargo link, which is expected to boost trade, support Lebanese exports and enhance economic activity between the two countries.
