Nasreddine participates in Africa Health EXCon, strengthens ties with Egypt
Public Health Minister Rakan Nasreddine participated in the fifth edition of the Africa Health EXCon conference in Cairo, held under the patronage of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
On the sidelines, Nasreddine met Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar to discuss expanding cooperation in healthcare, pharmaceutical production, health tourism and preparations for future meetings of Arab health ministers in Lebanon.
The minister also met Hesham Stait to explore cooperation in pharmaceutical procurement and healthcare management. Egyptian officials confirmed the rapid implementation of a presidential directive to send 10 tonnes of medical and pharmaceutical supplies in support of Lebanon’s healthcare sector.
