MTV Sources Reveal Iranian Envoy’s Legal Status in Lebanon
MTV has learned that reports claiming an extension of the residence permit of Mohammad Reza Sheibani, who was appointed by Iran as its ambassador to Lebanon, are entirely inaccurate.
A source told MTV's website that Sheibani was not granted a residence permit at all, and instead entered Lebanon on a six-month visa set to expire on July 24, meaning it has not yet been renewed.
