Derian and Merhebi discuss regional updates and potential agreement
Grand Mufti of the Republic Abdel Latif Derian received former minister and MP Talal Merhebi and former MP Tarek Merhebi at Dar Al-Fatwa.
Following the meeting, Talal Merhebi said discussions focused on developments in Lebanon and the region, including the agreement expected to be signed on June 19, expressing hope it would pave the way for a just and comprehensive peace. He called for an end to Israeli violations and urged commitment to the ceasefire.
Derian also received businessman Ziad Moussa, with talks covering Beirut-related affairs and the issue of detained Islamists
