Prime Minister Nawaf Salam requested a brief delay regarding the cancellation of official exams and the postponement of the previously scheduled date for the first session of the exams.
After the session, Education Minister Rima Karami expressed satisfaction with the decision to “pause” the cancellation of exams, away from what she described as the recent “chaos,” hoping this would signal a broader discussion on the value of the certificate.
She also noted that “the waiting period will not be long before developments become clearer,” adding: “I will hold an expanded educational meeting tomorrow, and it is important for us to discuss the implications of any decision that may be taken.”
