Aoun marks Islamic New Year with appeal for national cohesion
Marking the Islamic New Year, President of the Republic Joseph Aoun stressed that Lebanon is today, more than ever, called upon to reinforce its national unity and rally around state institutions. He emphasized that Lebanon’s unique and exemplary model of coexistence remains a source of strength, underscoring the importance of solidarity, dialogue, and collective responsibility in facing the country’s challenges and safeguarding its stability and sovereignty.
