May Feels Like a “Summer Preview”!
A stable, relatively warm spring weather pattern is prevailing over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean in the coming days, with temperatures rising, especially over the mountains and inland areas, where they are expected to exceed seasonal averages.
The average temperatures for May are as follows: Beirut ranges between 18°C and 27°C, Tripoli between 15°C and 25°C, and Zahle between 13°C and 27°C.
Weather forecast for Lebanon
Monday: Partly cloudy to mostly clear in the morning, gradually becoming partly cloudy with high clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged. Fog is expected to form over mid-altitude mountains.
Tuesday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas, where they are expected to exceed seasonal averages by 3 to 4 degrees. Active winds at times, with local fog forming over elevated regions.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at high altitudes with a significant drop in temperatures, bringing them back to seasonal averages. Winds will strengthen occasionally, and local fog will persist over the mountains.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with high clouds. Temperatures will rise along the coast, while remaining stable in the mountains and inland areas. Winds will be active at times.
