The Forecast Department at the Meteorology Service of the General Directorate of Civil Defense expected that tomorrow’s weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear with high clouds, with no significant change in temperatures.
The bulletin stated the following:
General situation: A stable and relatively warm spring weather pattern is dominating Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin in the coming days, with a rise in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland areas, where they will exceed seasonal averages.
Note: The average temperatures for May are: Beirut between 18 and 27°C, Tripoli between 15 and 25°C, and Zahle between 13 and 27°C.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Sunday: Clear to partly cloudy with stable temperatures on the coast, while temperatures rise above average in the mountains and inland.
Monday: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with high clouds, with no significant change in temperatures.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with a noticeable rise in temperatures, exceeding seasonal averages by 3 to 4 degrees, with occasionally active winds. Local fog will also form over high elevations in the evening.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with high clouds and local fog over the mountains, along with a noticeable drop in temperatures returning to seasonal averages. Winds will also become active at times.
