Israeli Strikes Intensify Across Southern Lebanon Amid New Evacuation Order
Israeli artillery shelling on Monday struck the town of Qallouiyeh in the Bint Jbeil District, while machine-gun fire targeted the outskirts of Naqoura in the western sector before dawn.
Airstrikes on Abbassiyeh left two people dead and five others wounded. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids on Kfar Reman and Toul in the Nabatieh District, carrying out multiple strikes in less than an hour.
Additional strikes were reported in Yahmar al-Shaqif, Kfar Tebnit, the vicinity of the orphanage area in Choukine, and areas near the Rahhal shops in Toul. Intermittent artillery shelling also hit Yahmar, Arnoun, Kfar Tebnit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and Mifdoun.
In the Bint Jbeil District, an Israeli drone strike also targeted the town of Haris.
The Israeli military additionally issued an evacuation order for residents of Reihan in the Jezzine District, as well as Kfar Reman, Nmairiyeh, Arab Salim, Jmaijmeh, Machghara, Qlaiaa in the western Bekaa, and Harouf.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah said it had targeted an Israeli force positioned inside a house in the Biader al-Faqani area of Taybeh using two attack drones, adding that Israeli forces later moved in to evacuate casualties.
