Israeli Army: Lebanese Forces Failed to Clear South of the Litani, Leaving Us No Choice
The Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, wrote on X:
Since Hezbollah decided to support the Iranian terrorist regime and attack Israel on March 2, it has launched about 700 rockets, artillery shells, and drones toward Israel from areas located south of the Litani River.
The Lebanese army was supposed to clear these same areas south of the Litani from Hezbollah’s terrorism, but it failed to do so.
We have no choice but to act against the threat posed by Hezbollah’s terrorism to Israeli civilians.
