Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted on X: Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Army targeted fuel stations belonging to the 'Al-Amana' company in southern Lebanon, which are under Hezbollah control across Lebanon and serve as an important economic infrastructure for the group. The targeted fuel stations generate millions of dollars in profits for Hezbollah, with the group using the stations’ accounts in the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association to finance its terrorist activities.
He added: These activities are yet another example of Hezbollah’s cynical exploitation of Lebanon’s population to carry out terrorist plans against the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli citizens. Targeting the fuel stations deals a significant blow to Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Lebanon and the ability of its operatives to plan terrorist operations. The strikes are also part of efforts to undermine Hezbollah’s economic entrenchment among the civilian population. The Israeli Army will continue to act decisively against Hezbollah, which has chosen to join the battle under the patronage of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to come to the citizens of Israel.
