A deep low-pressure system will bring unstable conditions across Lebanon through the weekend. Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, possible hail, and strong winds reaching up to 70 km/h, generating rough sea conditions. Snowfall is forecast at around 1,800 meters, while temperatures drop below seasonal averages, particularly inland.
Weather conditions will gradually improve from Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sunday remain cold with intermittent rain, while snow levels may drop to 1,500 meters. Authorities warn of potential flooding, slippery roads, and ice formation on mountainous and inland routes.
