Gemayel rejects referral of complaint against Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad to Military Court
Kataeb Party leader MP Samy Gemayel condemned the referral of a legal complaint against Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad to the Military Court, describing the move as an unacceptable and dangerous precedent that undermines the independence of diplomatic work.
In a post on X, Gemayel stressed that Lebanese diplomacy must not be subjected to political considerations.
What is needed is to protect institutions, not intimidate them, he wrote.
