The Meteorological Estimates Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects the weather tomorrow to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with temperatures dropping in the mountains and inland areas but remaining unchanged along the coast. Active winds are expected to raise sea levels, while scattered rain accompanied by lightning and thunder, with a possibility of hail, is forecast, particularly in the morning. Some breaks in the cloud cover are expected, while fog will continue to form over the highlands. The forecast bulletin reads as follows:
General situation: Stable autumn weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin until dawn on Thursday, when the region is expected to be affected by a low-pressure system centered east of Greece.
The system will gradually approach, accompanied by relatively cold air masses, leading to lower temperatures and active winds. Scattered rain is also expected, becoming heavier on Friday and accompanied by thunderstorms and a possibility of hail. The low-pressure system is expected to continue affecting the region until the end of the week.
