MP Waddah Sadek wrote on X: Since the beginning of the general debate session, Hezbollah MPs, led by MP Ihab Hamadeh, have appointed themselves as guardians of Parliament, labeling MPs as they please: this one is ‘with Israel,’ this one is ‘patriotic,’ and that one is a ‘traitor.’
Hezbollah colleagues, those who handed over Lebanon’s decision-making and the blood of the Lebanese to Iran have no right to label us or judge our patriotism.
You would be ashamed of what you have done to the country and its people, of the blood that has been shed, the villages that have been completely wiped out, and the occupation that your policies and wars have brought upon us.
No one in Lebanon’s history has served Israel as much as the policies of dependence and reckless wars that you dragged the country into, particularly at the expense of those who believed you.
The time when you could intimidate us is over, as is the era of handing out certificates of patriotism and accusations of treason.
