Hawat: Holding government accountability sessions is necessary and inevitable, and they should take place regularly
MP Ziad Hawat said that “holding the government accountable is necessary and inevitable and should be done regularly,” noting that he has “many comments and questions regarding the government’s performance.”
Speaking from Parliament, he called for “institutionalizing parliamentary oversight of the government and continuously monitoring its performance, in a way that contributes to addressing the issues at hand and holding those responsible accountable for any shortcomings.”
