Israeli Army Says It Found Hezbollah Rocket Launchers
Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya said that the Israeli army found ready-to-use launchers that had been left in the security zone before the ceasefire agreement came into effect, during the activities of the 55th Brigade's combat team in southern Lebanon.
She claimed that the 55th Brigade's combat team, under the command of the 91st Division, is operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon to eliminate threats against Israel. During the forces' operations, and as part of search operations in the area, troops found a position containing a Hezbollah tunnel opening and ready-to-use launchers carrying 32 rocket-propelled rounds aimed at Israeli territory. The launchers had been left in the area before the ceasefire agreement came into effect. The forces destroyed the position and the launchers.
Waweya added: The Israeli army will not allow Hezbollah to harm the citizens of the State of Israel or its forces, and will continue working to eliminate threats while maintaining its commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
