Cabinet session discusses budget clauses
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam chaired the regular Cabinet session.
Following the meeting, Information Minister Paul Morcos said: “Today’s Cabinet session was devoted to consultations on the budget items, which will continue to be discussed at the next Cabinet session with the aim of finalizing them.”
Salam also received a delegation from the Dar al-Fatwa in Tyre and southern Lebanon, headed by Tyre and District Mufti Sheikh Midrar Habbal, who said following the meeting: “We briefed Prime Minister Salam on the situation and needs of the South. He affirmed his commitment to the entire South and its people, as well as his follow-up on various issues and efforts to address their social challenges in all their forms, ensuring fairness for the people of the South and meeting their demands.”
