Finance committee approves army support, renewable energy loan and LU salary adjustments
Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee Chairman MP Ibrahim Kanaan announced that the committee approved three draft laws during its session.
Kanaan said the first concerns 100 million Turkish liras in support for the Lebanese Army, while the second approves a $250 million World Bank loan for renewable energy.
The committee also approved adjustments to the salaries of certain third-category employees at the Lebanese University who, Kanaan said, had been unfairly affected since 2014.
