Salam chairs Cabinet session to resume discussion of 2027 budget draft
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is currently presiding over a Cabinet session at the Grand Serail, to resume discussions on the 2027 draft state budget.
The session is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri, and Ministers of Finance Yassin Jaber, Defense Major General Michel Menassa, Tourism Laura Khazen, Social Affairs Haneen Al-Sayed, Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raggi, Trade and Economy Amer Bisat, the Displaced and Information Technology Affairs Kamal Shehadeh, Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Hajjar, Justice Adel Nassar, Telecommunications Charles Hage, Education and Higher Education Rima Karami, Youth and Sports Minister Nora Bayrakdarian, Industry Joe Issa Khoury, Administrative Development Fadi Makki, Labor Minister Mohammed Haidar, Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, Agriculture Nizar Hani, Information Paul Morcos, Environment Tamara Zein, and Public Health Rakan Nasreddine.
The session is also attended by the Director-General of the Presidency Antoine Choucair, and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makkieh.
