Katz Vows to Keep Striking Hezbollah
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the tunnels in the Ali al-Taher area were built over a 15-year period with Iranian support and funding, describing them as a major Hezbollah stronghold.
Katz said Israel was “blowing up the tunnels and destroying homes used as Hezbollah strongholds and forward positions,” adding that Israeli forces would “continue to inflict damage” on the group.
“We have an unprecedented fortified security zone,” Katz said.
