Berri reviews political developments with visitors
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received MP Imad Al-Hout at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, with discussions focusing on the general situation, the latest political and field developments, and legislative affairs.
Berri later met UN Deputy Special Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza, in the presence of the Speaker’s media adviser Ali Hamdan.
The meeting addressed the general situation, UN humanitarian programs in Lebanon, the displacement file and reconstruction efforts, particularly those related to service facilities, education and healthcare, as well as the rehabilitation of infrastructure in South Lebanon damaged by Israeli attacks.
Berri also received Public Procurement Authority President Jean Ellieh and members of the authority, who briefed him on its work programs.
During the meeting, Ellieh presented Berri with a book documenting the authority’s achievements.
