Hajjar concludes Pakistan visit with tours of security, digital governance and technology institutions
Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar concluded his official visit to Islamabad with a tour of leading Pakistani security and technology institutions, where he reviewed the country’s expertise in counter-narcotics, digital governance and advanced technologies.
Hajjar and the accompanying Lebanese delegation visited the headquarters of Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), receiving a briefing on its operations, security capabilities and efforts to combat drug trafficking.
The delegation also visited the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), where officials presented Pakistan’s experience in digital transformation, national database management and the delivery of secure government services.
Hajjar later toured the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), reviewing programs and projects in aerospace, aviation and technology, as well as the center’s role in promoting innovation and technical capabilities.
The tour concluded Hajjar’s official visit to Pakistan, which included meetings with senior political and security officials, including the president, prime minister, interior and foreign ministers, army chief and Senate chairman, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between Lebanon and Pakistan.
