Salam discusses support for return and recovery efforts in the south with Canadian Minister of State
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received Canadian Minister of State for International Development Randeep Sarai, with discussions focusing on the current situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Lebanon and Canada.
The meeting also addressed ways for Canada to support the state’s efforts to advance the return and recovery process in southern Lebanon, amid limited available resources and growing needs, in a way that enhances the state’s ability to meet the needs of returning residents and consolidate stability.
