Lebanon is expected to experience typical summer weather over the coming days, with temperatures remaining close to seasonal averages through Wednesday before gradually rising as relatively hot air masses move in from the Arabian Peninsula, according to the Meteorological Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Tuesday’s weather is forecast to be partly cloudy to overcast, with fog over mid-altitude areas in the morning and evening. Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, while winds will occasionally become active.

On Monday, skies will be partly cloudy to overcast, with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged along the coast and dip slightly in mountainous and inland areas. Clouds are expected to increase overnight in northern and southern Lebanon, with a chance of light drizzle early Tuesday. Winds will also be occasionally active.

On Wednesday, partly cloudy to overcast conditions are expected, with fog over mid-altitude areas. Temperatures will rise slightly in mountainous and inland areas while remaining near seasonal averages along the coast.

On Thursday, partly cloudy to overcast conditions will continue, with localized fog over mid-altitude areas. Temperatures are expected to rise further in the mountains and inland areas, exceeding seasonal averages, while remaining largely unchanged along the coast.

Temperatures are forecast to range between 24°C and 33°C along the coast, 14°C and 28°C in the mountains, and 16°C and 33°C inland.

Southwesterly winds will be occasionally active during the day, reaching speeds of 15 to 40 km/h, while winds will shift to weak southeasterlies at night. Visibility will be good along the coast but reduced over mid-altitude areas due to fog.

Relative humidity along the coast is expected to range between 60% and 80%. The sea will be rough, with water temperatures around 29°C, while atmospheric pressure will stand at 758 mmHg.
