Tourism Syndicates Federation Secretary-General Jean Beiruti said that the number of arrivals has reached 12,000, down from 15,000 last year, and that he expects the figures to gradually improve.
He also told MTV that occupancy rates at tourism establishments in the mountains have reached 80%, while coastal bookings have exceeded 70%, adding that guesthouses have resumed hosting weddings that had previously been canceled.
Beiruti thanked the officials who are working tirelessly to move Lebanon from instability to stability.
