Berri to Visit Baabda Tomorrow
Al Markazia has learned that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri will visit Baabda Palace tomorrow to meet with President Joseph Aoun and review the outcome of Aoun’s visit to Washington, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump.
The two are also expected to discuss key issues on the agenda, including the framework agreement, the talks scheduled to take place in Rome next Tuesday, and the proposed pilot areas, as well as the role Berri is expected to play in this context.
Meanwhile, Saudi envoy Prince Yazid bin Farhan is due to arrive in Beirut next Saturday for talks with senior Lebanese officials on the latest domestic security and political developments. He is also expected to brief them on the outcome of Arab, Gulf and international consultations regarding developments related to Lebanon, as well as the broader regional situation.
